Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Cleans all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pan and serving items and equipment as per the approved sanitation and food safe guidelines. Operates the dishwasher and Somat system and checks items for cleanliness. Stores all clean dishes in appropriate areas. Maintains all dishwashing and other cleaning equipment. Cleans and safely stores all brooms, mops and other cleaning equipment in their proper areas. Maintains a clean and safe environment around the dishwashing and storage area. Cleans the garbage area; sorts and removes trash, breaks down boxes and crates. Sweeps and mops floors. Loans and unloads food and supplies. Assists with food preparation when required. Prepares trays and banquet accessories. Assists with equipment, cooler and freezer cleaning. Any and all other tasks assigned by the Sous Chefs, Executive Chef or General Manager. Education / Experience Minimum one year p revious stewarding experience is a plus. Qualifications Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers and management. Must be able to understand instructions, read company correspondence and communicate when he/she needs more direction. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, turning, and stooping, Normal vision and hearing ranges required.
