Swank Construction Company, LLC is looking for a Mechanic I for our New Kensington, Pennsylvania shop location. TO BE CONSIDERED A QUALIFIED APPLICANT: Ability to t roubleshoot issues with company vehicles/machinery/equipment. Ability to repair company vehicles/machinery/equipment. Ability to perform maintenance on company vehicles/machinery/equipment, which include oil changes, inspections, and other routine checks. Ability to read wiring and hydraulic schematics. Ability to use or learn to use diagnostic software. Maintain company tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper use. Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Operate a service truck when needed. Perform all other duties as assigned. Dependable, Reliable, Punctual, & Self Motivated CDL License, Class A, with tanker endorsement - Required. Class 7 PA Inspection License - Required. Minimum of two years (2) experience working as a Mechanic in a shop environment - Preferred. Familiarity with heavy highway construction equipment/machinery - Preferred Experience with medium and heavy-duty truck repairs - Required. Mechanical aptitude - Required.
