Hello, Lincoln County Care Center in Shoshone, ID is actively looking to hire a PRN Line/Prep Cook. At Lincoln County, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. Job Description: Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service Test new recipes Clean the kitchen; put away/organize food deliveries Assist with kitchen inspections as needed, to ensure the foodservice production area is safe and sanitary. Inspect storage areas on a regular basis for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and order Requirements: One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment is preferred Food Handler's Permit required (we will assist in obtaining) High School diploma Minimum 17 years of age Possess excellent communication skills Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides, as needed Possess a great attitude while providing prompt, efficient, and courteous service Passion to learn and grow within the cooking profession
