The Township of Pine seeks applicants who wish to work and provide PT Maintenance/Custodial services for the Pine Community Center. The position will require approximately 28 hours/per week and is flexible to include early morning, early evening, and Saturday or Sunday mornings. We can work around your weekly schedule! Flexible Hours are Available on: Morning Hours Needed on M-T-W-TH-F Saturday or Sunday Mornings - 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Opportunity for additional hours Essential Duties of this Position Include: Follow Building maintenance/cleaning schedules at Pine Community Center (gymnasium, track, exercise rooms, locker rooms, and restroom areas.) weekly Sweep, mop, and dry all floors, steps, hallways, and building lobby as needed. Clean and disinfect all railings, doors, elevator, fitness area, Kids' Corner, exercise rooms, and other areas as needed. Clean all glass doors, windows, and mirrors as necessary. Restock supplies in restrooms, locker rooms, Kids Corner, and fitness area. Responsible for emptying and changing liners in all trash and recycling receptacles throughout buildings or designated areas. Placing in outside trash dumpsters. Ability to work outdoors to maintain the Community Center sidewalk (clearing/salting) during Winter snow events during scheduled hours and weekend mornings. Perform rotational deep cleaning at Community Center. Must work independently, organize and prioritize workload, and meet deadlines time and efficiently. A willingness to perform other duties as assigned. Ability to operate properly, safely, and efficiently all maintenance and janitorial equipment used to clean and maintain facilities. Ability to lift 25 pounds and work in an environment with a low to moderate noise level. Be respectful and responsible with Township-owned equipment and fixtures at all times. Ability to foster cooperative relationships with staff, the general public, and Township Officials. PA Clearance Requirements: ACT 33 - PA Child Abuse History Clearance ACT 34 - PA State Police Criminal Record Check FBI Criminal History Background Check - Fingerprinting
