The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including identifying customer requirements, assisting in defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. The Product Manager will lead and foster the relationship between Product and Marketing. As Product Manager, you are passionate about technology and want to bring MUTOH products to life for our customers. This position is in the corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona, and reports to the Marketing Manager Supervisory: No Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain demo room equipment, ensure they are always in "customer demo ready" status. Perform weekly maintenance on each printer based off Maintenance Checklist. Produce printed samples with each model and conduct live and virtual presentations of products. Assist field sales organization in answering product related questions & training sessions. Develop thorough proficiency of MUTOH printers, cutters, and RIP software. Responsible for full life cycle of product, from launch to end of life (EOL) programs. Assist in developing and providing written input and other required information to marketing. Creation of stock samples and custom samples based on customer/dealer requests. Produce various print projects needed for marketing to support partner sponsorships and collaborations. Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of competitors' products and activities. Provide continual input relative to the marketplace and competitor activities, significant events, pricing, trends and / or merchandising practices, product additions and / or modifications and marketing programs. Create end user ICC profiles and manage access on FTP site and elsewhere. Respond to industry publications requests for written articles, questionnaires or other information representing MUTOH America as our "subject matter expert". Work closely with Marketing, provide input on promotional programs, product literature, spec sheets, launch kits, advertising, strategies, and other marketing projects as requested. Travel and participate in trade shows, open houses, technology workshops, seminars, sales meetings to demonstrate equipment and applications, answer questions. Assist with event/booth set-up and tear-down as required. Continuous monitoring of accuracy of your specific technology on company website, provide recommendations for improvements, updates, corrections, and alerts of needed repairs. Testing and evaluations of engineering prototypes with timely written reporting. Assist with ad hoc assignments or projects as needed. Required Skills/Abilities: Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or relevant field - preferred Minimum of 5-7 years' experience and working knowledge of various printer ink technologies, applications, and operations, of which at least 3 years is in product marketing. Working understanding of Color Management as it applies to digital print. Experienced with FlexiRIP products, ability to create. Experience working with MUTOH America Inc. printers - preferred. Competency in Adobe Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat. Capital equipment industry experience with a focus on digital wide-format printing equipment - preferred. Proven track record of successful product launches. Self- starter with the ability to work in a team environment or independently with good mechanical/technical skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Great interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to lift and move heavy material 80 lbs. or greater. Ability to take ownership, overcome challenges, and prioritize work. Physical Requirements: Bending, stooping, sitting, heavy lifting, and flying Travel Requirements : 25% travel required
