Encompass Christian Counseling is looking for a compassionate professional Receptionist for our Wooster, Ohio counseling office to greet clients, answer phones, and perform general front office duties. This is an on-site position, Monday-Thursday, 4-8p. Rewards : $750 Employment bonus - paid within 60 days of employment 401(k) with employer match, upon eligibility Requirements : High school diploma or GED required. Office/reception experience required, healthcare/mental health office experience preferred. Ability to be on site during scheduled shifts - Monday-Thursday, 4-8p. Ability to use computer efficiently, with specific familiarity with internet and Microsoft office. Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues and the public via telephone and in person. Responsibilities : Adhere to CCHO's statement of faith and code of conduct. Treat others with Christ-like attitude, while helping them experience their worth in Christ, and demonstrating behaviors reflecting CCHO's core values of Relentless Commitment, Selflessness, and Kindness. TEAM first. Completes daily Medicaid portal and private insurance verifications, collecting payments, and balancing cash sheets. Secures electronic signatures for all new client intake paperwork and managing client surveys. Creates a hospitable environment for clients and visitors, acting as the 'face' of the office to the general public, demonstrating compassionate and welcoming behavior. Answers and screens calls, completes intakes, schedules client appointments, completes routine correspondence.
