Ranger Die is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to grow the maintenance team. This is an opportunity to develop your skills working with an expert Millwright on a wide variety of machinery. This position also comes with the possibility of part time Truck Driver responsibilities - candidates interested in receiving CDL-A training will be given priority. This is a day shift position, Monday - Friday. SUMMARY The PM Mechanic is responsible for assisting in routine and preventative maintenance of all equipment within the facility, as well as general cleaning and upkeep of the facility itself. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery. Accurately maintain preventive maintenance logs. Diagnose problems; replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service. Follow all safety precautions on repairs to equipment and machinery. Assist in the maintenance, general cleaning, and upkeep of the facility. Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs, troubleshooting & preventative maintenance as necessary. Perform job responsibilities with a sense of urgency suitable to a fast-paced facility. Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and scissor lifts. Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards. Serve as a backup truck driver on local pickups and deliveries. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education - High School diploma or equivalent Experience - none License(s)/Registration(s)/Certification(s) - must be able to successfully complete training to receive permits for both forklifts and overhead cranes Skills/Knowledge/Abilities - Mechanically inclined; D etail-oriented; ability to judge spatial relationships and use logic; ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; problem-solving skills; Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently Ranger Die offers a benefit package for eligible full time employees that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; flexible spending account; 401k; and paid time off.
