We offer the latest kitchen cabinetry, countertops, bath & kitchen plumbing products and lighting. Position Overview: Our Innovations by VP Team is seeking to hire a Showroom Sales Associate with sales and design experience to join our Ballston Lake showroom. We are looking for high performers who are forward-looking, innovative, enthusiastic, and ambitious team players. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with superb judgment and communication skills, a commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: Work with homeowners, builders, and contractors regarding new construction and remodeling projects. Provide sales and consulting services to trade/design customers, industry partners, and retail customers. Provide superior customer service to both VP's existing and potential customer base to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Generate quotes for current and prospective clients. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and their representatives. Coordinate scheduled showroom visits, as well as handle walk-in customer appointments. Qualifications: Experience in a retail or commercial environment is preferred. Kitchen, bath or lighting background and product knowledge, highly desired. Must be detailed oriented and able to meet customer deadlines. Ability to adapt to time sensitive commitments to respond to customers and deliver excellent customer service. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This job operates in a retail setting, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While a somewhat sedentary role, frequent standing on feet up to 8 hours/day and some lifting or carrying of items up to 25 pounds may occasionally be required.
