Why you should apply to be a CAD Drafter: Permanent, Full-time Position Pay Range: $18.00+ per hour, based on experience 1st Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Access to Company Benefits: Paid Time Off Medical Insurance 401K What a typical day as a CAD Drafter might look like: Interacting with the local municipalities, engineers and construction/maintenance employees daily to acquire records, Assessor Maps, map info, AIS and Construction Prints Develop 3D models by analyzing prototypes and 2D drawings Examine and check engineering drawings for compliance with cited specifications Translating field notes to develop and update conduit/ cable engineering design drawings in AutoCAD This job might be an outstanding fit if you: HSD, or equivalent education, is required Six months of related experience and/or combination of experience with technical certification/degree Knowledge of OSP standards, fiber optic network Knowledge of AutoCAD 2019 +, AutoCAD Map 3D Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems Knowledge of online mapping software ex.
