Trans-Bridge Lines, Inc., a family-run business celebrating over 80 years in business, is seeking a full-time IT Technician who will play a vital role in our online ticketing program. This is a new position for Trans-Bridge Lines and we are looking for the right person with technical support experience and excellent customer service. Rate Range: $19.23 - $21.63 per hour Job Summary: The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for managing our new online ticketing system as well as other IT projects in a technical and customer service role. The Technical Support Specialist will also assist our communications department with website changes, design and development. Duties/Responsibilities: Point of contact for all online ticketing training, questions, issues and problem solving from internal and external users. Main contact and liaison between Trans-Bridge and the 3rd party online ticketing and IT management companies. Assist with all server and network maintenance, including hardware and software updates. Assist with computer upgrades and maintenance. Assist and at times be a partial back up to the communications manager, working closely on the development of the company website, customer service responses and videos. Completion of initial training and any ongoing training. Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to learn, use, and teach new online ticketing system. Ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical staff and customers. Strong problem solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn new software. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Customer service experience preferred. At least 1 year of technical support required. Experience with website changes and design preferred. Ticket agent experience a plus.
