Underground Construction Laborer

Description:
As a General Laborer you will be expected to perform tasks involving physical labor for telecommunications construction projects. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, clean up rubble and debris. May assist with all other daily tasks on the crew. Experience in general construction, landscaping, concrete restoration. Telecommunication experience and working with drilling crew a plus. Must be able to assist crew in directional drilling, excavation, digging trenches, placing pipe, back filling, and restoration. Setting up and taking down job-site daily. Perform routine labor (potholing, equipment setup, conduit, duct, cable placement, set pedestals) as required Hand dig in holes and trenches around other utilities. Work in a fast paced environment Ensure cleanliness of job sites Work efficiently and complete work in a timely manner Ensure accountability of all tools and materials Additional Abilities • Willing to work in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions• Ability to work efficiently, independently and collaboratively in a team environment• Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day• Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers• Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable work attendance• Must be willing to travel• Must have valid driver's license - Class A CDL preferred• Must be able to pass drug and background screening• Must be authorized to work in the United States Benefits • Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance• Paid Holidays• Vacation (PTO)• 401K Retirement Savings Plan
