Shipper - Manufacturing Facility Since 1975, Omega Flex has been supplying quality engineered flexible metal hose products that meet demanding industrial, commercial and residential applications. We are collecting resumes for future shipping roles. Experience Requirements: Must be comfortable operating a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload trucks and/or pick up, transport, and transfer materials and finished product. Experience pulling orders and preparing products on a pallet for final packaging. Experience working with purchase orders, picking slips, bills of lading, and other shipping paperwork used to document accurate weights and amounts applicable to invoicing and inventory control. Must be familiar with or have working experience using steel strapping tools, banding machine and hand tools or other equipment used in the preparation of shipping reels of flexible metal hose and accessories to our customers. Experience entering shipping and inventory data into a computer database and/or ERP system. Experience scheduling truck for pick up and delivery of manufactured products. Participate in our monthly physical inventory process. Must be safety conscious and have the ability to follow processes and procedures in place for quality and safety initiatives. Working knowledge of two-bin inventory stocking system is a plus. Other duties as assigned that relate to receiving, identifying, ordering, storing, and distributing a variety of raw and finished materials, manufactured, or purchased parts used in the materials handling process.
