Position Summary The Venue Custodian cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet company and client satisfaction, as well as serves as onsite contact for vendors and clients. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on client requirements and business needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Daily, weekly, monthly, or annual cleaning duties as listed on Cleaning Checklist Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and company regulations Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others Properly cleans and maintains equipment and property of the venue Cleans assigned areas to company and client standards and requirements Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas Reports maintenance concerns to Management Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required Admits vendors and clients to facility per weekly schedule Ensures security of company assets Coordinates with Manager on weekly schedule and tasks related to events Assists in set up and break down of floor plan for weekly events Other duties and tasks as assigned by Manager Qualifications: Previous custodial experience preferred Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs. Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift, move, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
