ARE YOU READY FOR A GREAT OPPORTUNITY? The Supply Chain/Sourcing Associate will oversee and manage the procurement of goods and services. The role is responsible for identifying suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all purchasing activities are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. WHY JOIN OUR TEAM? Competitive compensation Full-time position Work hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Health, Dental, and Vision plans SIMPLE IRA Paid Vacations and Holidays POSITION REQUIREMENTS A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of direct sourcing experience is required. Prior inventory management software experience is required. International procurement experience is preferred. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts that ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain long-term relationships with current and prospective suppliers. Develop and implement procurement and inventory optimization strategies. Obtain multiple quotes from competing suppliers, review quote specifics, and compile a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns. Generate quote comparisons and contribute to internal supplier selection based on quote information. Monitor supplier performance and adherence to contract terms. Provide solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing. Prepare and process purchase orders. Maintain records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments. Monitor inventory levels and determine purchase needs. Schedule and verify purchase deliveries. Conduct regular market research to identify industry trends and new products. Communicate analytics and recommendations to upper management regularly. Attend meetings and training as required and more!
