We are currently hiring a Physical Security Specialist to support our team. This position will be located on site in Quantico, VA. The qualified candidate will provide security administration and management to assist in safeguarding national security information. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in reviewing, assessing, and implementing physical, personnel, informational, industrial, and cyber security Management of physical security Support of Program Access Request process Safeguarding classified information Document destruction program Visitor and resident control and badging program OPSEC plan created and updated Security education, training, and awareness Security specialist support to facility Qualified security specialist to support Assist GSSO with administration and management Assist GSSO with physical security Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: TS is required. Education and Experience: High School degree required Three years security experience in the Physical or Industrial Security Working knowledge of implementing government security programs and policies; Solid and proven written and verbal communication skills; and Ability to communicate via written and oral means. Experience in the use of Access Database, Excel, and Word. Ability to handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision.
