Summary The Marketing Communications Intern assists the marketing team, specifically the Content Manager and Sr. Director with a variety of communications-related marketing projects - including editing case studies, blog content, and other web materials as part of a corporate rebrand. In addition, the intern may be involved in generating original content for social media and email use. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in copywriting and marketing and can deliver accurate and grammatically correct copy with appropriate messaging across a range of media. The intern may be involved in additional marketing content - related projects as time and interest permits. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with teammates to meet goals for content for the website, emails, case studies, and other market-facing deliverables. Ensure partner and marketing-facing content is accurate, engaging, and error-free. Learn and follow departmental workflows and best practices for ensuring only clean, accurate content is released to the public. Coordinate/manage content and projects assigned to completion, ensuring content makes it in final form to the platform(s) it need to be on Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) as needed to obtain information needed to clarify and improve content. Ensure content is SEO-friendly and aligned with SEO goals to increase organic traffic. Other marketing tasks, as required, to meet team objectives. Other Duties & Responsibilities Other duties assigned as needed. Skills and Abilities Excellent written communication skills and ability to gather information as needed (verbal skills) Extreme attention to detail, ability to recognize and correct typos, inconsistencies, and other errors before they reach public forums. Ability to prioritize across multiple projects. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where there may be some uncertainty. Organizational and coordination skills, with the flexibility to adjust plans as needs and priorities change. Competency in Microsoft Office applications Interest or competence in social media (LinkedIn) a plus Work Experience Prefer a rising senior with some professional or office experience, but not required. Writing samples required Education Pursuing a bachelor's degree in relevant field
