Description:

We are a 3rd party warehouse organization looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for the Baytown area. We service customers in chemical (including hazmat) storage and distribution and follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Candidate must possess the following skills: Forklift Experience (Sit-down - Reach Truck a plus) 4-6 year minimum in logistics/warehousing Background working with hazardous materials is a must Experience in Excel Able to stand for 8-10hrs a day Able to lift up to 50lbs and adjust body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat and grab; walking and sitting for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced environment DOT/IATA/IMDG is a plus Operate equipment in a safe way Provide training to employees on safety and Palmer procedures Be able to multitask Professional and communicate effectively with warehouse and office Team player Reliable Creating and managing daily operations Self-motivated Be able to follow Procedures and instructions from management Inspect facility and equipment Inventory knowledge Follow Palmer customer requirements Help resolve employee issues Maintain clean safe working environment Ability to work after hours and weekends Benefits include: Access to Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Access to Life, Accident, and Critical Illness policies Access to 401k Retirement
