We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, self starter in our Customer Service Department. The Customer Service Representative will manage assigned customer accounts from beginning to end. Palmer Logistics Customer Service Representative has the responsibility of being the primary interface with our customer ensuring procedures are followed and customer requirements are met in the processing of their orders. They are an intermediary between the customer and our warehouse operation. Starting pay is $16.00-$18.00 depending on experience. Responsibilities Manage assigned customer accounts Processing of customer inbound and outbound orders ensuring accuracy Prepare outbound paperwork and invoicing by verifying contractual rates in contract agreement Correspond daily with customers via email or phone Research discrepancies in inventory as needed Address customer complaints in a timely manner Skills Ability to multi-task Ability to work in a fast paced environment Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong data entry skills; accuracy Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems ( Accuplus/EDI) Professional Communication skills; verbal and written Attention to detail, organization Requirements Highschool diploma, G.E.D.
