Salary: $17 - 28 Per Hour Job Description: Duke City Primary Care is seeking an energetic, positive individual to join our team as a Clinical Allergy Specialist! The appropriate candidate will be customer service oriented and remain calm and polite under pressure. At Duke City, we pride ourselves on fast, friendly, quality care and hold our teammates to the highest standards. Job Purpose: At Duke City Primary Care, the Clinical Allergy Specialist will work directly with the Clinical Allergy Manager on all aspects of the allergy program. The individual will perform specialized skin tests to diagnose allergies, prepare patient's treatment regiments, explain insurance coverage, and benefits for allergy testing and treatment, provide patient education and perform any other duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities: Deliver an incredible patient experience with safe and efficacious clinical outcomes to include the administration of quality allergy testing, and the formulation and preparation of all allergy treatment regiments. Proficiently perform allergy skin testing. Educate patients and advocate for strong compliance throughout the immunotherapy treatment plan. Explain insurance benefits for allergy testing and treatment and estimate patient out-of-pocket costs. Monitor test trays and other allergy supplies and order as needed based on projected patient volumes. Develop and maintain effective, professional relationships with all members of the clinical care team, including but not limited to providers, clinical coordinators, medical office staff and allergy company professionals. Other duties as assigned.
