Unarmed Security Officer - Part Time weekends only

Job requirements: Provide security in a manufacturing environment. Conduct interior and exterior security checks via foot patrols Granting gate access to the property Monitor surveillance cameras Sign in visitors and contractors Answer phone calls as needed Assisting employees as needed Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and critical situations in a in a calm manner Observe and report Be willing to work as part of a team, while being able to work alone following well established security protocols and standard operating procedures. Must be able to read and understand written instructions, complete standard forms, and logs, compose reports that convey complete information in a legible manner. Must be able to walk up to 8 mils per 8 hour shift including climbing stairs Outside patrols must be complete in any weather conditions QUALIFICATIONS: Education Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent. Experience Must hold active Tennessee Security License. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Security Guard or in a related area. Must be capable of understanding and carrying out routine instructions. Must be able to work weekends. Must have basic computer skills. Must be familiar with standard security concepts and procedures. Must have the physical capacity to perform required tasks including walking patrols. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the client. Must possess acceptable verbal and written communication skills. Must have a pleasant personality; must be dependable. Works under general Supervision. Must have a valid driver's license with no serious violations. CPR/AED First Aid certified or able to obtain certification. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be able to pass a drug test. If former military, you must be able to supply a DD-214 showing honorable discharge.
