Are you able to utilize a cloud-based business phone system? Do you have switchboard or receptionist experience? If so, you might just be perfect for this job. Little League International in Williamsport, PA is looking to hire a Part-Time Temporary Receptionist to join our team. This temporary position will work mid-May through the end of August and typically follows normal business hours, 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday - Friday and earns $12 - $15 per hour for up to 35 flexible hours per week. While priority will be given to those who can work through the end of August, we will be flexible for the right candidate! A background check is required for this position. ABOUT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL Located in South Williamsport, PA, we are the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the leading nonprofit youth sports organization with 75+ years of history supporting youth baseball and softball. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTIONIST AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL This Part-Time Temporary Receptionist position is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service for Little League International by operating the telephone in an efficient and courteous manner. This position will answer the phone in an office environment. It will also assist guests by answering questions and making them feel welcome. This position will maintain a positive, supportive demeanor with guests and employees at all times, and will act in alignment to the organization's culture, image, and core values. This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is : Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with the public and guests Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction Able to multi-task and handle high volume/high stress at times while maintaining composure Dedicated to customer service Smiles when they talk! Loves Little League Baseball and Softball! Only looking for summer 2023 employment from mid-May through August Ideal for students & teachers QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED 1-2 years of switchboard/receptionist experience preferred Excellent Customer Service and communication skills via phone, email, and in-person MS Office experience Must live within commuting distance to South Williamsport, Pa. 17701 Acute attention to detail Positive attitude, and willingness to learn new things Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Professional business attire PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous verifiable experience in a customer service position working with the public Experience with a cloud-based business phone system DIVERSITY IN THE WORKPLACE STARTS HERE- ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
