This position will report to the Accounting Manager and will play a key role in maintaining the daily operations of the accounting staff and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. The staff accountant is responsible for a variety of tasks as outlined below. This is a full-time exempt salary-based position. Allstar is currently looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to act as the Business Central system matter expert. Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to: Train employees on Business Central tools Create monthly and quarterly financial statements Offer process improvements to accounting functions Provide leadership with detailed accounting reports Maintain working relationships with external clients and vendors Back up AP, AR, and billing teams Complete account reconciliations Back up Payroll process while providing system guidance Prepare fixed assets Assist the Accounting Manager with ad hoc reporting and month end close Requirements/Skills Two years of experience with Business Central NAV (must have) B.S. degree in Accounting CPA preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Microsoft office Able to problem solve and work independently Benefits: Excellent company offered benefits package to include PTO, Health, Dental, Disability & Life insurance, Vision, 401 (k) with company match and other.
