The Projects Analyst - Plastic Manufacturing will assist the Special Projects Manager in strategically guiding plastics manufacturing design and quoting projects from beginning to completion within established timeframes. The role will progressively take responsibility for onboarding new projects, setting up parts, managing bills of materials and pricing for customers, and performing parts, service, tool quoting, design, and engineering support functions, among other roles as requested.If you are a team player that can follow directions and stay organized, then you may be the perfect addition to our growing PolyTech team! A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred. Three years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, plastic injection molding, manufacturing project management, or a similar industry is required. A valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under the Company's automobile insurance are required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES High capability to excel in plastic manufacturing processes, design, and quotes. Train to assist the Special Projects Manager in completing all work responsibilities as part of the Company's succession plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define goals, allocate tasks, and meet project deadlines. Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and resolve issues as they arise. Aid in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and status reports. Perform parts, service, and tool quoting functions. Responsible for data entry of parts setup. Collaborate with the Special Projects Manager to communicate information, project assignments, ideas, and instructions to diverse audiences. Manage information technology responsibilities by promptly troubleshooting and resolving IT issues and assisting with software roll-outs and upgrades. Multitask competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and commitment to quality. Protect the confidentiality of proprietary business information and more!
