LA Health and Rehab Center has an opening for a Billing and Documentation Clerk. We are looking for a highly motivated person with prior experience in medical billing. This position interface regularly with the leadership of the organization and report to the Executive Director. Essential Functions: Knowledge of medical billing/ collections practices Knowledge of electronic billing Knowledge of business office procedures and etiquette. Knowledge of basic medical coding and third party operating procedures and practices Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment. Skill in answering a telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients ,employees, vendors, and the general public. Must be well organized and detail-oriented. Education and Experience High School Diploma Minimum 2 year of experience Strong communication and customer services skills
