IHMVCU is growing and we are seeking a passionate Branch Supervisor ! This position will be located at the Davenport, Iowa branch. A day in the life of a Branch Supervisor may include: Successfully handling a variety of member and team member situations with professionalism, integrity and confidentiality. Making sure the branch operations are running smoothly such as: vault/cash drawer balancing, coin counter, cash advance machines, check scanner, debit card machine, etc. Develop Universal Tellers and work to ensure that they feel informed about the policies, procedures and other relevant topics. Consistent one on one and observation coaching, along with motivating and energizing the team to be successful. Building professional and personable relationships with your members and team members by being attentive, actively listening and providing educated well thought out recommendations. Productively manage multiple tasks/projects at once and being adaptable within a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will need the following skills/qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Prior leadership within a financial institution, customer service or retail environment preferred. Strong history of proven relationship building performance. Exceptional member service, problem solving and decision making skills. Professional interpersonal communications and ability to motivate and coach the team. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time. Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. Finger, handle, touch: Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling. Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm. Lifting Demands Up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity to do things such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
