Ferguson Construction started in 1920 as a general contracting firm serving institutional, commercial, and industrial markets with an office in Sidney, Ohio. As our project scope expanded, so did our office space. Ferguson now operates locations in Sidney, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio, and Columbus, Indiana, which allows us to more efficiently serve our clients throughout Ohio and Indiana. Primary job responsibilities for a Human Resources Co-op are as followed: Manage daily call-ins, vacation scheduling and attendance reports for construction employees Answer phones and greet employees as they come into the HR department Support HR team members who are responsible for the launch of our new HRIS Support HR team in creating a new Employee Handbook that contains updated employment policies Other support as needed Qualifications Cooperative education is a structured method of combining classroom-based education with practical work experience. All Applicants must be in enrolled in a college institution majoring in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Business with a focus in Construction to qualify for this position.
