Description:
Scope of Position: The Regional Facility Manager is responsible for controlling and coordinating maintenance activities for continuous operation of all gym facility locations. This includes both maintenance and management duties for the assigned gyms. Major Responsibilities: · Assures all gyms are adequately covered for maintenance needs.· Educates Facilities Managers of proper maintenance procedures.· Is always vigilant for safety in the gyms as work occurs.· Responsible for the development and design of preventative maintenance schedules for assigned gym locations.· Works with corporate management on proper staffing levels and identifies gym needs regarding all maintenance items.· Maintain logs and manuals based on company policy.· Trains new hires and current staff at assigned gym locations.· Reviews purchase orders and may order necessary specialty parts and supplies by using the company purchasing system.· Works with HR to post, recruit and fill maintenance positions as needed to support gyms.· May assist with the repairs to gym facilities and equipment at all assigned locations.· Has the expertise to train or perform refurbishing (blast/paint) and fabricating (weld/paint) fitness equipment as necessary.· Assists with the development and implementation of new methods and procedures, when needed to improve operations, minimize costs and maximize efficiency.· Helps develop training and instructional material for gym employees that add to improving peak performance of the facility and acquaint the gym staff with company policies and procedures related to maintenance.· May be asked to work on special projects with in the Region or nationally.· Conducts performance evaluations for team.· Schedules contractors work, inspection of completed jobs and approval of invoice· Create PM schedules for water heaters, HVAC, Fire life safety and other trades as needed· Create new contacts in the region for various trades to enhance service provider network Qualifications & Requirements: · High School Diploma· Trade Certifications desired· Previous multi-unit experience and oversight· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs· Experience working in purchasing systems/work order systems.· Requires Valid Drivers License with MVR report and reliable transportation
