Position Overview: Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person who enjoys delivering professional customer service while learning about the "big picture" of our business. Working in collaboration with other team members to own all aspects of delivering an exceptional customer experience, the Customer Service Representative will interact with customers via phone, email, and chat to place orders, answer questions, and resolve complaints. Starting Hourly Rate: $18.00, based on experience Job Responsibilities: Communication and Listening - 40% Exhibit solid customer service skills answering inbound phone calls, processing orders and responding to customer inquiries in a friendly, upbeat, and helpful manner. Use provided tools and resources to identify custom product or service solutions based on customer needs, soliciting sales of new or additional products and services Exhibit patience and resilience while handling customer concerns and disputes; working to determine the "best fit" solution for all parties involved. Respond to chats and emails in a timely and professional manner ensuring proper grammar, as well as clear and concise responses. Build customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative suggestions, resourcefulness, and comprehensive knowledge of our products / services Continuous Learning and Data Entry - 30% Serve as a subject expert on products and services offered, clarifying requests, answering questions and providing information and quotes on promotions, products, and pricing. Process data entry of orders, maintain calendar and email using Outlook. Keep records of customer interaction, recording details of inquiries complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken. Send, receive and file contracts and forms for new account or changes to accounts. Problem Solving and Follow Up - 30% Help expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints. Discern when to elevate to management if necessary. Demonstrate initiative and the ability to prioritize job responsibilities. Ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customer's problems (follow up). Qualifications: Requires 3 to 4 years' experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Marketing or High-Volume Call Center 1+ years' experience in office environment preferred Requires minimum of High School Diploma/GED Preferred Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree: Business, Communications, Sales or related fields Punctual, responsible and with a positive attitude Requires Excellent verbal and written communication abilities - essential to the position Requires Minimum typing speed 40 WPM. Strong multi-tasker with the ability to successfully manage multiple communication streams simultaneously Team player with a willingness to jump in and help out mid-project Strong problem-solving skills Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations Self-starter, possesses a desire to grow, learn and develop Adept, capable and demonstrable computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications - especially Word, Excel & Outlook Requires a solid understanding of weights and measures. IE: Ounce, grams, inches and millimeters along with ability to perform simple math equations.
