D3 is seeking a PLM Solutions Architect that is passionate about supporting their team with a proactive and thorough customer service approach. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Solutions Architect works with our key customers to define and design customized and configured solutions for their PLM processes. Working directly with customers to understand their PLM needs and provide custom solutions built on Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle Products. Responsible for project kick-off, requirements gathering, architecting customers solution, user acceptance testing, training, adoption). Ensures the use of quality assurance of software engineering processes and agile practices are successfully followed and takes ownership of problem-solving with clients and colleagues. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Pre-Sales Activities Initial customer discovery Develop and present custom demonstration of solution Work with sales for budgetary proposals Customer Project Delivery Activities Host requirements gathering sessions Produce written specifications that align with customer requirements for proposed solutions and configuration activities. Plans and architects a proposed solution Identify issues and risks and provide input for solutions to key process stakeholders. Analyze Customer requirements and contribute to the configuration of Autodesk products accordingly. Define with customer proper user acceptance testing Provide occasional end user training when needed Internal D3 Project Activities Support the development of applications and add-ons to extend the functionality of client solutions. Data migration projects by developing tools to connect to existing systems & databases and apply Extract Transform Load (ETL) operations to migrate data into new systems. Develop system integration solutions that connect business systems Utilizing .NET, REST, WCF, Database Queries, etc. and streamline the transfer of data at specific workflow stages. QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced high-performing consulting environment. 2 years of experience in the PLM domain , Manufacturing and Product Development . Experience with software development languages and technologies such as Java, XML/XSL, UML, JavaScript, HTML, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), Document Object Model (DOM), Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and Web Service Definition Language (WSDL). Knowledge of the entire Product Lifecycle beyond engineering in areas such as Change Management, Quality, Compliance (Industry, Environmental), Manufacturing, Facilities, Supply Chain and Field Service. Knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing best practices such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Knowledge of SaaS models and Cloud based-technology . ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR : Familiarity with other non-Autodesk applications such as Dassault ENOVIA, Siemens PLM Teamcenter, Arena, Aras, and PTC Windchill. Functional K nowledge of supply chain management, distribution, manufacturing, quality and product lifecycle management. Middleware/Integration implementation knowledge with systems including ERP, CRM . Knowledge of Jitterbit integration technologies is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Bill of Material (BOM) functioning. Knowledge of configuration management techniques and standards including CMII, Lean Manufacturing principles, mixed discipline BOM management including mechanical, electrical and software components. LOCATION & TERRITORY: D3 will provide the required computer systems and software Report to a D3 office if there is one located within 50 miles of your home address Accommodation and requirements for Remote-Worker-Exception Manager approval Home address exceeds 50 miles from the closest D3 office Dedicated Home Office Quiet location, free from distractions Reliable High-Speed Internet with minimum performance of Download 10 Mbps & Upload 5 Mbps Observe standard hours of operations This is a non-reimbursable expense, consult your tax preparer for potential deductions.
