Referral Specialist Aegis Health Care is hiring Healthcare Heroes! Aegis Health Care is currently seeking a detail-oriented Referral Specialist to be part of our Atlas Medical team. Atlas Medical specializes in providing primary care for geriatric patients in Senior Living communities. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm in our Mesa, AZ office. The Referral Specialist is an important part of the Aegis Healthcare team. Aegis Health Care specializes in providing complete care for geriatric patients. The Referral Specialist will assist in initiating authorization requests and eligibility for hospice, home health, and outpatient therapy. Atlas Medical is part of Aegis Health Care. Job Responsibilities: Initiate authorization requests for hospice, home health, and outpatient therapy Verify eligibility and benefits Track referrals to ensure compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards Accept and perform other related duties and responsibilities as required Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance terminology Previous experience in home health, hospice, and outpatient therapy Ability to relate well to staff and other professionals Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task Adaptive problem-solving skills Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable automobile Proof of current automobile insurance Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance Negative TB test
