QUALITY ASSEMBLY & QUALITY CONTROL OPERATORS Huntsville, AL Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour (Opportunity for overtime!) Status: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire HIRING IMMEDIATELY for exciting opportunities with a well-established company located in the heart of Huntsville! This company has a great company culture! Positions are TEMP-TO-HIRE, but it is the goal of the company to hire multiple Operators PERMANENTLY! The temporary period for this position will be a probationary period for those who prove themselves and who are looking for not just a JOB, but a CAREER! WHEN hired permanently (average of 90-day probationary period depending on hours worked), a salary increase FANTASTIC BENEFITS are likely! HIRING : Quality Assembly Operators Quality Control (Shipping/ Receiving/ Delivery) QUALITY ASSEMBLY OPERATOR S: Monday-Thursday 2nd Shift: 3:15PM 12:45AM * Training period on a 1st shift schedule, 6AM-2:30PM ) Duties : Read Traveler and check for proper operation sequence Verify previous operations have been performed Verify part identification matches part identification on traveler Inspect for irregularities Verify part count Perform operations in accordance with instructions on the traveler Record work and time performed on the traveler Keep all paperwork and labels with the traveler Maintain or exceed minimum production rates when applicable QUALITY CONTROL (Shipping/ Receiving and Deliveries): Monday-Friday 1st Shift 6AM-2:30PM Duties : Must have a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds. Work efficiently and quickly Clean and inspect your work area Communicate with supervisors about supplies/ inventory levels Perform operations per instructions Load and unload boxes Organize inventory Make occasional deliveries Company Requirements: Some computer skills Ability to understand basic math concepts Regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle, feel objects, tools and controls. Reasoning ability to solve practical problems, read and write Clean and inspect your work area Inform supervisor if supplies are running low Comply with all ESD and Safety standards Must speak English well enough to take instructions from the Supervisor and communicate with fellow employees Ability to interpret a variety of instructions (written, oral, diagram, or schedule form) Working Conditions CLIMATE CONTROLLED shop!! Minimal exposure to dust, fumes, smoke and some noise levels Minimal exposure to hazardous materials. Physical Demands: (Company is sensitive to the needs of individuals with disabilities. Reasonable accommodations will be considered.) Regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle, feel objects, tools and controls. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Must be able to lift or move up to 25 pounds Must have excellent eyesight and depth perception including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Must be in sound physical condition in order to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, or smell during the entire shift.
