Recreation Coordinator / Aquatics Program Manager SwimKids Utah in Holladay, UT is looking to hire a full-time Recreation Coordinator / Aquatics Program Manager to provide great customer service, train staff, and teach classes as a swimming instructor. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECREATION COORDINATOR / AQUATICS PROGRAM MANAGER As a Recreation Coordinator / Aquatics Program Manager, you oversee the daily operations of our swimming pool facility. You enjoy having a management role that allows you to be active and involved with so many aspects of the business! You're proud to represent the SwimKids Utah brand, and you proactively engage with clients. You provide excellent customer service as you respond to inquiries, sell lesson packages, and resolve issues. As a natural-born leader, you're driven to build a great team. You hire employees who are passionate about creating a positive experience for kids, and you provide comprehensive training for our swimming instructors based on the SwimKids curriculum. Staff members appreciate your professionalism and know they can count on you to offer ongoing support, supervision, and mentorship. You do your best to consider the needs of your team members as you plan shifts and create work schedules. One of your favorite parts of this job is that you get to have fun in the swimming pool! You have the opportunity to teach lessons for 15 - 20 hours each week, and you sub for swimming instructors as needed. It's a refreshing and rewarding way to connect with our clients. At the end of each day, you make sure that the swimming pool area is clean and the equipment is in good working condition. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RECREATION COORDINATOR / AQUATICS PROGRAM MANAGER Excellent customer service skills Ability to train and lead a team Willingness to learn the SwimKids curriculum Experience as a swimming instructor would be an asset but is not necessary. We can train you as a swimming instructor . Are you passionate about helping kids stay active while teaching them lifelong skills? Are you organized and dependable? Do you have great interpersonal skills and the ability to provide stellar customer service? If yes, you might just be perfect for this position! WORK SCHEDULE FOR A RECREATION COORDINATOR / AQUATICS PROGRAM MANAGER This position requires an average of 45 hours a week during our regular business hours of Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm as well as occasional Saturday shifts .
