WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU The River Source offers industry leading, cost-effective, substance abuse treatment for those in need. The mission of the Clinician is to make sure that we are providing the best care possible for our clients. You will reflect our passion for providing good care and a professional experience. You will be passionate about helping clients reach goals with personalized treatment plans while working in a team environment. You will also possess the following skills: Verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a full calendar Analytical and problem-solving skills Superb organizational skills Ability to guide, direct, and influence people WHAT YOU WILL BRING Master's Degree OR Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field Experience in Substance Abuse treatment Licensed (or working towards licensure) with the State of Arizona's Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Substance Abuse Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor (preferred) LASAC/LISAC (preferred) WHAT YOUR DUTIES WILL BE Meet with assigned clients at least once a week Implement family / couples counseling component Complete all clinical documentation in accordance to JCAHO and AZ DHS guidelines Attend meetings with the Program and Clinical teams Promote a positive work environment by being a genuine and authentic person when interacting with your team Facilitate group therapy throughout the day REWARDS OF WORKING AT THE RIVER SOURCE Full support and career development resources to expand your skills, enhance your expertise and maximize your potential along your career journey A diverse and inclusive community of belonging, where teammates are empowered to bring ideas to the table and act on them Generous Rewards Plan- comprising health, finance and wealth, work/life balance and career benefits.
