As the Director of Human Resources, you will plan and administer polici es, practices, and processes across all human resources activity; including benefits administration, employee and management training and development, employee relations, leave administration, records management, complian ce management, HRIS management, safety, and administrative support. You will lead the HR team. The selected candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in related discipline from a four-year college or university ( Masters and/or PHR is a plus); or 10 or more years related experience and/or training ; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Lead human resources role and/or supervisory experience is a plus. Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plans, coordinates, and/or oversees all human resource functions including onboarding, benefits administration, employee and management training and development, employee relations, leave administration, records management, compliance management, HRIS management, safety, and administrative support . Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements related to human resources. Files government required employment and benefit reports on an annual basis. Leads the HR team in ongoing partnership with internal client management. Proactively assesses areas such as employee morale, support, training, development, etc. and identifies areas for improvement. Leads the HR team and internal stakeholders through change through communication and follow up. Maintains and updates the people-related policies and practices for the company . Proactively reviews policies, identifies gaps, and makes recommendations to improve or update. Creates, implements, and updates procedures in all human resource areas as needed . Establishes regular review of these processes and measures the results. Provides accurate and timely human resource reports needed to maintain process controls, ensure compliance, inform department Directors, and facilitate strategic plans. Develops, coordinates, and/or conducts management training and ongoing coaching in topics such as: interview and selection , performance evaluations, employee development, discipline and terminations, EEO and diversity issues, safety, and unlawful harassment. Coordinates with management in addressing employee relations issues. Conducts or coordinates employee grievance investigations; represents the company at applicable hearings and investigations.
