Company Overview: Our Cannabis Location is seeking a retail and cannabis focused General Store Manager for our location in Battle Creek. Our company is growing rapidly with over 100+ employees in multiple cities across MIchigan. Our company is driven on success following the vision, mission, and values we provide daily to our employees, customers, and general public. Position Summary: We are seeking an individual who has a drive and passion for the cannabis industry and can incorporate their retail experiences as a General Store Manager. The Manager will maintain professionalism while upholding company policies and procedures. The manager will also work closely with leadership teams in the field and Corporate Office to maintain efficiency in the day-to-day operations of the business while monitoring sales, customer interactions, staffing, merchandising, and inventory. Managers are also expected to be compliant with state and local regulations and laws. Job Responsibilities: Coach and direct sales staff to ensure they are meeting company standards Protect company assets and minimize losses by ensuring inventory levels are accurate Conduct in-person interviews and manage the hiring of your location Manage scheduling, performance management, and recognition for your staff Operate the POS System and motivate employees to upsell and/or convert customers to branded products Resolve escalated customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction Promote a positive workplace culture by providing direction and clarity to employees Communicate goals and have a "on the move" mentality of getting things done efficiently and accurately Basic knowledge of the cannabis plant and its effect on the endocannabinoid system Skills: Google Suite including Sheets and Gmail POS/Cash-handling system experience required Leadership and interpersonal skills Efficiency with technology and point-of-sale systems Requirements: Must be 21+ years old Cannabis industry experience, preferred Managerial experience 5+ years, preferred Retail experience 2+ years, preferred Full-time availability (45 hours per week, flexible schedule) Evening and weekend availability required Ability to pass a criminal background check Capable of sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, bending or walking throughout the workday Ability to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs Compensation: Salary, starting at $45,000-50,000/yearly (negotiable experience considered) Employee store discount (20%-25%) Full benefits after 90 days including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off
