What You'll Do: As a CDL Class A Driver, you will Load, Unload, Prepare and Deliver water and mixed chemicals to customer sites in an accurate and on time way to meet the Company and customer expectations. Your Accountabilities in the Role: Loads/unloads trucks and stages material in the appropriate area safely to ensure complete, on-time, and accurate materials are ready for projects. Confirms the quality of material and products being shipped to ensure integrity, safety, and overall customer satisfaction. Prepares and mixes chemicals accurately following instructions and doing basic math calculations to ensure accurate mixtures. Operates and performs light maintenance on the trucks to ensure customer deliveries are on time to meet customer goals. Supports the assembly team in a sister company during down times to meet the overall goals of the business. Position Requirements: Education: A high school diploma, or the equivalent. Experience: 1+ years of Class A CDL driving experience; Farmer and/or agricultural backgrounds would be a plus. Certifications: Valid Driver's License and CDL Class A required. Functional Skills: Good attention to detail with an ability to read and understand documents, procedures and specifications. Basic math and counting skills are required. This role also requires the ability to use hand tools for light truck maintenance and general warehouse equipment as well as good prioritization skills and an ability to multitask and problem-solve issues to meet company goals. Requires excellent time management skills as well. Technology Aptitude/Skills: Basic computer skills helpful, but not required. Language Skills: Basic verbal and written communication skills. Leadership/Behaviors: Reliable, self-motivated that can take initiative; puts the time in to get the job done in an accurate, safe, and high-quality way; can work independently and be accountable for their work and projects. Culture Match Behaviors: Team-oriented, collaborative, gets along well with others; yet be responsible to ensure the work is complete, on-time, and accurate. Other Important Information: Position Pay : $25 - $35.00 per hour based on proven, direct experience. Willing to negotiate for the right person as well. Expenses covered. Bonus Potential!!!!! Reports To: Operations Manager Core Hours: Daylight to Dark during busy season; shorter hours during off season (can move from full-time to part-time hours during slower season if chosen, or work assembly in a sister company). Typical Work Week: Monday to Friday, with some weekends as required (Staying onsite for 1 - 8 days on average as required to get the job done) Direct Reports: None Work Conditions: Driving a semi-tractor trailer; agricultural environment; ability to lift up to 50 - 75 lbs (with assistance as needed) and able to work around chemicals and moving equipment. Travel: Multi-State travel with in this region. Overnight travel.
