WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU As a Service Technician, you use your knowledge and skills to maintain/service our machines! You travel to Viking Engineering customers to service, troubleshoot, install or maintain our industry-leading wood fastening machines. You run equipment installations, scheduled maintenance, and maintenance assistance. All new Viking machines are installed by our Service Techs who also perform setup, calibration, hands-on operator training, and give troubleshooting advice. Every day you utilize your mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills to give our customers the best service and keep up on all your tasks. You love using your abilities to help our clients AND our business be successful! 1+ years of experience in a related position Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to travel - able to drive for extended periods of time and obtain a U.S. passport to travel internationally on occasion (up to 75% travel required) High mechanical aptitude , problem-solving and troubleshooting ability especially in electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and mechanical systems Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical journals, manuals, blueprints, and schematics Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics preferred Apply today and join our full-time machine service team
