About The Role This position is within the Company Infrastructure Department and reports to the Infrastructure General Manager. The Infrastructure Department manages the design, engineering, approvals, construction and commissioning of various hydrogen production facilities. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic team player with experience in project management of various engineering discipline projects and systems. This position is also responsible for responding to a variety of challenges and maintaining strong interpersonal skills to develop, grow and maintain client, consultant & contractor relationships. This position will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the safe, timely and commercially successful delivery of the project. The ideal candidates would hold qualifications in project management, construction management or engineering discipline and have construction industry experience within the oil and gas, petrochemical or industrial gases industries. An ideal candidate may also have a combination of qualification in mechanical or electrical or E&I or civil engineering and relevant industry management experience or similar. Responsibilities In the management of design, authority approvals, engineering, construction, contractors, project controls, budget, QA & QC, procedures, and project logistics. Create and manage schedules, programs, contracts, design documentation, specifications etc. Use rational process decision making tools to determine vendor selection, design, and other key decisions and problem solving throughout the project. Maintain a strong focus on effective communication and problem solving. Ability to work autonomously and with very minimal supervision as required and maintain effective time management skills. There may be a requirement to travel interstate, infrequently, 10% or less. Summarizes progress and provides report outs to leadership verbally and written. Support and assist at departmental level as required with commercial and contract administration for contractors and consultants as needed. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Bachelor in project management or construction management or appropriate engineering discipline is highly desirable. PMP, CAPM certifications preferred. Minimum 5 years industry experience in either project engineering, management, coordination, controls, or project management assistant on relevant projects in excess of $3MM value in construction in the oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial gases industries is highly desirable but not essential. Strong experience and understanding of AutoCAD are required. Ability to communicate with client/stakeholders effectively. Ability to read and understand engineered design, P&ID's, construction design, project specifications. Ability to effectively use MS Project or similar is required. Preference and preferable for experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, pressurized industrial gas industries. What We Offer An opportunity to work with a fast-growing company.
