POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES GLA educators are fired up about teaching and learning. They want to spend their time immersing themselves in the rich content that they teach. The School -Based Programs and Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and coordination of school-based programs brought to the school site under the supervision of the CEO/Principal and Director of Scholar Advancemen t . They are responsible for coordinating activities of an assigned program; assisting in the development and implementation of assigned special programs at Global Academies schools by formulating program goals; establishing procedures, developing supporting documentation and managing a multifaceted program; serve as a liaison between teachers and other staff members, parents, partners etc.; prepare various reports and correspondence as required . The School -Based Programs and Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for playing a critical in the oversight of the School -Based Cultural Arts Programming, Leadership Programs, High School Process, PBIS Implementation, School-Based Partnerships, Global Excursions and Fundraising Opportunities . EDUCATION : Required qualifications to effectively perform the job at the time of hire. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. Additional requirements and/or substitutions may be requested and require the approval of Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree QUALIFICATIONS: Highly desired education, training, and/or experience that may be helpful in performing the job, if applicable. Preferably a Master's Degree Minimum of 3 years employed through the school site Experience in being a member of a PBIS team. Experience in fundraising Experience in seeking partnerships Experience in event planning Knowledge of office software and experience using computers Knowledge of research related to Positive Behavioral Interventions Demonstrated leadership and project organizational skills, (planning, implementing, evaluation) Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those commonly associated with this position. Ability to work with children, adults, parents and partners Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties required DUTIES: May be required to drive to other locations Attends trainings relevant to job performance Facilitates the High School Process o Assist Grade 8 teachers in order to identify interests and talents of Grade 8 Scholars o Coordinate the high school application and enrollment process for Grade 8 Scholars o Assist, when applicable, in the scheduling of High School Admissions and Shadow Day Visits for Grade 8 Scholars Assists in bringing in programs and partnerships that will benefit Global Academies scholars Serves as Cultural Arts Team Coordinator Serves as site leader for all school-based Leadership programs including but not limited to National Honor Society, Jag and Be More Excellent Serves as site leader for all school-based partnership programs including but not limited to 21 st century after-school programming, Get healthy GLA in conjunction with the school's wellness consultant , Vetri Nutrition Education, CHOP asthma prevention program, WEPACC, Experience Corp , and Global excursions in conjunction with the Global Academies Global Studies coordinator Collaborate with school committees and clubs to discuss support services regarding special events Assists Director of Scholar Advancement in gathering and maintaining alumni data Maintains a site-based database of Academy graduates including contact information, high school placement, college placement, and work placement Assists with implementation of parent and alumni scholar workshops Collect and analyze data on programs Ensure compliance with program regulations Manage support staff Plan and schedule program events Monitor program budgets Help with marketing efforts for the program Prepare reports COMPENSATION Initial salary offers for this position start at $57,000 . Salarie s are dete rmined using an equ itable compensation scale that accounts for years of experience and leve ls of attained edu cation .
