Program Applied Behavioral Analysis Services (ABA) Child, Adolescent, Adult with diagnosis of Autism ABA services are delivered by one or more members of a team consisting of Licensed Analyst and paraprofessional staff; hours are based on clinical assessments, offering behavioral assessments; interpretation of behavior analytic data; development of a highly specific treatment plan; supervision and coordination of interventions; and training other interveners to address specific objectives or performance goals in order to treat challenging behaviors that interfere with the youth's successful functioning. ABA includes services provided by two different sets of credentials, Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst and behavior technician/paraprofessional. It is delivered by one or more members of a team of qualified providers consisting of professional and paraprofessional staff. Phone contact and consultation may be provided as part of the intervention. Job Description This Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or licensed Applied Behavior Analyst position is full-time or part-time. This is a profession in which you consult with families and caregivers. The Clinician performs Functional Behavioral Analyses generates related Behavioral Support Plans and trains all staff in their application. They must provide training and supervision of line staff in all policies and procedures--particularly those specific to this developmentally disordered population. Job Duties: Functional Behavior Assessment- conducts descriptive and systematic behavior assessment Documents observations of the youth in the home and community Designs and supervises behavior analytic interventions Conducts structured interviews with the youth, family and any identified collaterals about behaviors Completes a written Functional Behavior Assessment Develop a focused treatment plan that identifies specific and measurable objectives or performance goals and interventions that are designed to diminish, extinguish, or improve specific behaviors related to youth's mental health condition Develop specific objectives and interventions that are incorporated into the youth's new or existing risk management/ safety plan Develop treatment goals and provide coaching, support, and guidance to the caregivers on how to implement strategies identified in the behavior management plan Work closely with the BT/ Paraprofessional to ensure the treatment plan and risk management/safety plan are implemented as developed and to make any adjustments to the plan Supervises the work of those who implement behavior analytic interventions Basic Qualifications Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst must have Master's in Applied Behavioral Analysis with strong post-degree training in ABA, Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology. Preferred current certification by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board at the graduate level (BCBA) and/or Licensure from the state of MA (LABA) Will consider candidates who have completed or are working towards the completion of BCBA. At least three (3) years of relevant experience post-degree. Experience and expertise with both autism-spectrum and psychiatric populations strongly preferred. Experience in the evaluation and treatment of children with serious behavioral problems required. Benefits: Excellent benefits package!
