SUMMARY As a Logistics 3PL Manager you will play a vital role in the development and deployment of the supply chain operation for R&R Solutions. You will be responsible for Customer Development for our existing Logistics Department as well as our 3PL Brokerage Operations. Other duties will include building a carrier base for the 3PL business and helping with logistics operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop business with new and existing customers, negotiate pricing, and rate competitiveness Communicate professionally with clients electronically/via telephone with regards to customer portfolio and strengthening relationships to provide logistics services Negotiate competitive rates with 3PL transportation companies and provide the most cost-effective supply chain options for our customers Ability to adjust and adapt quickly to issues and changes involved with 3PL, R&R Logistics and shifting client needs Other tasks as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) or more years prior experience in 3PL or Transportation operations Strong computer knowledge and skills (Excel, Word, Gmail, etc.) Exceptional time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure in a fast passed environment Critical thinking skills-always looks for ways to improve processes and performance EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school Diploma or GED is required Experience with Transportation software a plus Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Pay Rate: Salary plus sales commission plan (to be determined).
