A Day in the Life of a Medical Receptionist As a medical receptionist, you play an integral role in setting the tone for all patients in clinic as the first friendly face they see. Your primary duties are administrative in nature, where you will greet and help patients, update patient accounts, schedule appointments, monitor the office flow, and prepare/dispense patient medications. You also ensure adequate inventory, reconcile daily payments taken, and prepare provider charts/lab results . You maintain professionalism with all patients, vendors, and colleagues as well as comply with all relevant HIPAA laws. Always friendly and professional, you are a great addition to our team, and enjoy using your excellent patient care skills to do important work that you find satisfying! Qualifications for a Medical Receptionist Bachelor's degree preferred. Medical experience may substitute for degree. Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician preferred Minimum 1 year experience in a health care setting including front desk office duties preferred Excellent emotional maturity and customer service skills Being bilingual is strongly preferred. Some interest in or knowledge of the anti-aging field would be a plus. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Do you have experience working with electronic medical records? If so, you might just be perfect for this medical receptionist position! Work Schedule for a Medical Receptionist This full-time medical receptionist position works 40 hours per work .
