Sr. Supply Chain Analyst

Description:
The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will drive the optimization of the Supply Chain through cost saving initiatives, process improvements and network optimization across Customer Service, Planning, Logistics, Distribution and Procurement, with analytics to balance cost, inventory, production, and delivery. The individual will collaborate with the functional leaders to drive the implementation of those improvements. Essential Accountabilities Collect data on Supply Chain functions. Develop new dimensional data using the appropriate ERP functionality while maintaining best practices for data management. Collaborate with Customer Service, Demand Planners, Supply Planners, Procurement Specialists, Logistics Specialists, and Distribution to optimize daily operations according to ad-hoc requirements - including the creation of SOP's. Act as liaison and Subject Matter Expert to the IT team for new Supply Chain application projects or reports. Understand the underlying ERP system workflows and transaction activities to create accurate reporting tools. Identify and implement improvements to the database structure providing better capabilities and functionality. Act as project manager for key reporting tools that support Supply Chain Department objectives. Provide Data to Supply Chain Management that helps them better understand cost drivers, risks, and opportunities to mitigate those factors. Support for ERP functions used in Oracle and interface with IT to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. Develop/support Supply Chain KPI scorecard tracking and performance. Develop new KPI's related to Supply Chain Excellence to instill a culture of best practices with respect to manufacturing and systems. Support Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning processes. Drive process improvements, including automating manual processes across all aspects of Supply Chain. Support the budget planning process. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field. - Minimum of 3 years' experience in an analytical/ERP systems related to supply chain or operation's functions. - APICS certification preferred. - Oracle experience a plus - Lean Six Sigma a plus Desired Skills - Experience in purchasing/production scheduling and/or general materials planning experience in an ERP system - Knowledge in a manufacturing environment - Sound knowledge of varied production and quality assurance operations - Fundamental understanding of ERP requirements and processes - Experience with complex logistics planning, vendor relationship management, and inventory management - Basic understanding of SQL, databases, and other query languages. - PowerBI - Strong analytical/mathematical and problem-solving background - Advanced Excel Position Requirements Work Environment Conditions: Inside (Office) Equipment/Tools Used: Personal Computer, fax, phone, copy machine, Oracle, Orbit, and Microsoft Office software Physical Requirements: Normal Office Mental Requirements Reading, Writing, Calculating Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and time management skills Understanding of production capacities, constraints and cost/service trade-offs Reasoning/Analytics Works with minimal supervision Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to lead cross-functional projects without direct authority Travel Frequency (in addition to seminars or related training): Local 1-2 times per year
