Job Summary Davis Express is seeking experienced quick-service management team members to join our team in Prince George, VA. The ideal candidate will have high energy, strong leadership and staff development skills, keen cost of goods/labor cost control knowledge and great interpersonal and organizational skills. You will support the operations of the business and the general manager. You will be running shifts and assisting with paperwork but most importantly you must be passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for our guests and employees! Job Requirements The ideal candidate will believe in our mission and make our guests a priority Managing high volume restaurants, fast casual preferred but not necessary Hiring, training and growing teams Proven demonstration of strong leadership People & Leadership Skills Do you know how to lead and motivate people? This one skill set is what separates good managers from poor managers and will be the key attribute we will focus on. Energy & Stamina - it's a team-based work environment and crew energy is important. Ability To Work At A Fast Pace Our kitchens have a lot going on and there's lots of on-the-line communication and job rotation. It's not for everybody. Good Communication and Effective Organizational Skills Love for Great Food Caring About Your Teammates Always working for the success of your team. Maintain professional appearance Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (35lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed. Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 1 year of leadership in a fast paced restaurant environment. Strong skills in customer satisfaction and clear communication. Passionate about delivering high quality food in a clean, safe and professional environment. ServSafe Certified a plus.
