We provide innovative solutions through technology, inspired design, and client centric customer service. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer. Qualifications and Experience: 2 or more years of experience. BS in Civil Engineering or related field. Passed FE exam or EIT registration, preferred. Essential Responsibilities: Candidates would be required to perform the following tasks: Complete various civil engineering and/or surveying tasks assigned by a Project Engineer or Manager, and work under their direct supervision. Work independently on project tasks with minimal oversight. Work with and seek guidance from more experienced staff and provide guidance to less experienced staff on assigned projects. Use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D in the preparation of surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, construction layout and staking. Design site civil, municipal, and transportation projects with the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software. Prepare and assist in the preparation of reports and permits for site civil, transportation, and municipal projects. Provide support for proposal requests, contract preparation, and assistance in project coordination responsibilities. Perform construction observation or field services as requested. Communicate with project teams in all offices. Limited responsibilities in directing staff on project specific tasks. Communicate with clients, peers, and agencies on projects. Have the ability to provide overtime to meet project deadlines. Assist in any other assigned tasks in support of the Lynch & Associates team.
