Job description NIRA, Inc. is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington, DC. The individual will provide financial management support and will maintain industry best practices and ensure effective budget execution practices. The individual needs to demonstrate ability to work within a team to resolve issues and present solutions to senior leadership.Responsibilities include:· Creating Purchase Requisitions (PR), tracking PR/Pcard status, communicating with the Vendors, buyers and Contracting Officers as needed to ensure the completion of the PR/Pcard.· Using Financial Accounting Systems (such as FAA's Delphi, REGIS, and CWP) to run reports and provide analysis on obligations and expenditures· Collecting travel information from customers and creating travel spend plan, assistant client to approve the travel requests with the travel budget allowance and providing the accounting information to customers, updating the spend plan as needed· Generating and updating various weekly, monthly financial reports, reconciling the reports with the government financial systems, providing evident and resolving the discrepancies on time· Performing various analyses of financial reports and data from Government accounting systems· Completing deliverables on time at highest level of quality· Execute other duties as assigned by manager and customers Education Requirements : · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline Key Requirements : 3 to 5 years of directly relevant experience, U.S. government experience is preferred; Understanding of federal government budget/accounting systems, processes, procedures, and regulations Strong analytic, communication, computer, and organizational skills Solid financial and planning skills Job Type : Full-time Salary : From $50,000.00 per year Benefits : 401(k) 401(k) 5% matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Voluntary Benefits Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience : working: 3 years (Required)
