Job description Come join the culinary team at our beautiful waterfront restaurant, Blufin! $16.50 an hour starting pay. $400 SIGN ON BONUS after 60 days of successful employment.Our restaurant is looking for a professional Line Cook who can help prepare meals as per our standard recipes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating meal portions, cleaning food, cooking meals and keeping a sanitized work area. We are seeking an individual who has experience in the food service industry and is committed to impeccable food presentation and execution, which is crucial to maintaining our company's standards. Must have flexible work schedule including late nights and weekends.Responsibilities: Passion for creating memorable moments of hospitality for our guests 1-2 years of restaurant experience in a line cook position is preferred Hotel experience preferred Knife handling skills Strong foundation of basic cooking techniques Ability to understand and replicate advanced cooking techniques Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule with or without reasonable accommodation. Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with peers and guests Self-motivated, organized, reliable and hardworking The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure A strong work ethic and a hunger to learn and grow Insurance Benefits: These Benefits are available the first of the month within 60 days of employment.
