This position is a critical member of the accounting team and will provide support to both CAMX & TIAX. This is a full-time position that will report to the Accounting Manager and is located at our Lexington, MA office. This position is a full time and must be available to work onsite. Our Companies CAMX Power and TIAX take early-stage inventions and innovations and transform them in our labs into technology-enabled product platforms ready for spin-out. As an employer that cherishes excellence and nourishes talent, we hire excellent people on our proven AAWE model: attitude, aptitude, willingness to learn, and expertise Entry Level Staff Accountant Supervisory Responsibilities: Duties/Responsibilities : Assist with the monthly requisition process. Work closely with Project Managers and Project Manager Coordinator on all facets of project accounting and administration issues Assisting with payables and receivables Resolve discrepancies with receipt of goods Handling petty cash Obtain/post previous day cash activity Perform account reconciliations, cash/denial postings, and client disputes Complete external audit work as assigned and assist with internal audit functions Assisting with payroll duties Preparing and processing invoices Balancing the general ledger Required Skills/Abilities: 1-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in an accounting role - internship experience can be included Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1 year of experience with any accounting software; we run on Deltek Costpoint Must be proficient with Excel - will be using Pivot tables and vlookups TIAX LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not unlawfully discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship status, or any other class protected by federal or state law in all employment decisions.
