Position: Insurance Coverage Attorney Location: Bloomfield Hills, MI Plunkett Cooney is an insurance coverage attorney to join the firm's Insurance Coverage Practice Group. The Insurance Coverage Practice Group consults with and represents insurance carriers with respect to coverage analysis and bad faith/coverage litigation. This is not a PIP litigation position.The preferred candidate will be an experienced and versatile attorney, who has demonstrated the ability to analyze and resolve complex insurance coverage issues.Preferred candidates should have: Two or more years of experience in the areas of insurance coverage (first or third party) Experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, taking depositions, and arguing motions Excellent client service Strong analytical, research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills A J.D. from an ABA-approved law school Be in good standing in and an active member of the State Bar of Michigan We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in highly competitive and complex environments with significant client contact. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
