Epworth is seeking a qualified Transitional Independent Living Program Director to lead the program and serve youth in transition in South Carolina. They will be responsible for the oversight, staff supervision, and coordination of services to at-risk and high-risk youth enrolled in the Epworth Transitional Independent Living Program. The Transitional Independent Living Program Director will: Ensures delivery of evidence-based services to at-risk and high-risk youth enrolled in the program Collaborates with CPO to plan, develop, and implement quality control processes and establish monitoring procedures, including completion of quarterly PQI reports; ongoing performance monitoring; and adherence to evidence-based practices Collaborates with Epworth leadership to comply with grant requirements, including performance reporting Conducts behavioral health screenings and assessments to identify unique needs and strengths of youth enrolled in the program Creates individualized service plans in collaboration with youth served Provides case management and referrals to external providers to ensure the identified needs of youth served are met Provides Aftercare services for clients post-discharge for at least six months to ensure clients have the necessary supports to sustain successful transitions into independence Responds to and assesses crisis situations involving suicidal threats, gestures, and/or attempts by clients Maintains up-to-date client files and monitors documentation compliance Qualifications Professionally licensed practitioner of the healing arts with current licensure in South Carolina (LPC-A, LPC, LMSW, LISW, LMFT). Minimum of five years of experience working in a mental health or group residential setting with at least two years of progressively responsible management experience. Proficient in behavioral health screening and assessment, treatment planning, and individual and group therapeutic interventions. Proficient with various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic communication. Ability to learn new database(s)/technology as required. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including: drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church The mission of Epworth Children's Home is to serve children, youth and families through caring, safe, Christian communities, where hurts are healed, hope is nurtured, and faith in God, self, and others is developed.
